Scenting in certified buildings

Greenery at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

Many of Singapore’s premium buildings hold or are pursuing BCA Green Mark certification, and some occupiers pursue WELL or LEED. These frameworks pay close attention to indoor environmental quality, including air quality and the materials released into the air.

A scenting programme in a certified building should be specified with that in mind: considered formulations, restrained intensity, scheduled operation and documentation the certification team can review.

What we do and do not claim

We do not claim that scenting earns certification credits. We specify programmes to sit comfortably alongside certification goals and work with your sustainability lead to provide the information they need.
